# Recall

> Recall is AI shortlist intelligence for venture funds, their portfolio companies, deep-tech teams, coworking spaces, and private education. It tracks who AI engines recommend, where brands appear in answers, how they are framed, and which public sources shape the result. Every metric links back to stored evidence.

Recall is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), also called generative engine optimization (GEO), without the black box. On a schedule, it runs a defined prompt set across configured engines, records mentions, answer position, framing, citations, query fan-out, model, locale, and run outcome, then identifies implementation-ready opportunities. Teams can track a shipped change against a locked baseline and call a lift only when matching samples and confidence intervals support it. Recall includes starter packs for venture capital, AI infrastructure, robotics, biotech and life sciences, defence and dual-use, aerospace, climate and energy, advanced materials, industrial technology, Web3, coworking spaces, private schools, and kindergartens. A venture fund can use the same engine for its own founder-facing discoverability and as a portfolio support program.
